Self-acclaimed dancehall king of Africa, Shatta Wale has finally confessed to the fact that Sarkodie helped him to become who he is today.
Shatta Wale who was previously known as Bandana went missing between 2003 and 2011 after churning out classic hits at the time and still hits. Returned a decade later with a new identity as Shatta Wale.
In an old video that has once again gone viral on social media due to the ongoing brawl between him and his former friend, Sarkodie, he recounted how the rapper gave him his biggest show after his comeback.
He said he used to perform on stages made with Sapele wood after his comeback until Sarkodie invited him to perform at his annual concert, Rapperholic for the first time.
According to Shatta, performing at Rapperholic was a dream come true and it was after then that the name Shatta Wale became solid with a movement attached to it.
The video albeit being old is currently being shared by many social media users in the attempt to tell Shatta Wale not to forget Sarkodieās impact in his music career.
