“Castro had a grudge with me while recording Adonai”– Sarkodie Celebrates him & tells how it Occured

Sarkcess Music and Sarknation boss known as Sarkodie, who is known with lots of hits upon hits songs to his music gallery, has finally revealed to the public how he ended up collaborating with one of the finest Ghanaian singer Castro, who has gone missing over the last six years, to record his biggest song in his Music Career titled ‘Adonai’ with him.

According to the BET Award winner Sarkodie, the song he featured Castro was released in the early part of 2014, and is still the most viewed music video in Ghana on the YouTube platform, with over 60 million views.

Speaking in a one on one Instagram live conversation with legendary beat maker JayQ in a bid to celebrate the singer on his birthday, the rapper when asked about how collaborated with Castro, made it known that, he had known Castro during his Radio Rap Show before shooting to fame, and he had always treated him like mainstream artiste in which he was not.

After I had finished working on the beat, I wanted to get a very good singer to work on the chorus for me. I had tried several times to get in touch with Castro, but he was giving me excuses of been busy. I didn’t know why, not knowing he had a grudge with me concerning something I did that he never liked, and I didn’t know anything about it”, the rapper said.

He continued, “I was in the Studio one day and he entered, after our usual vibe, he later prompt me on what I did that he never liked, we finally resolved the issue and later worked on the song”,

Sarkodie in a way to show his gratitude and love to Castro, promised to send an undisclosed amount of money to the family of his colleague artiste.
